Derecktor – Florida: Success Story – Elisa
Elisa – 150′ Christensen – hauled on 12/22/14 and launched on 12/24/14 following a significant shaft and propeller repair under inspection by ABS and underwriters. “Dear Gallo, On behalf of the Owners and Crew of m/y ELISA we want to thank you for everything you and your crews did for us in two and a half days. What your team accomplished was nothing short of a Christmas Miracle! When we called last Friday asking for a haulout we don’t think anyone was very optimistic of our chances to be underway for our trip. We thought with the impending Holidays we would get hauled out and have to wait for the New Year to get the job done. By the time we came out of the water your team went straight to work and wasted no time at all removing the propeller and the shaft. By the time the damage was inspected by the insurance company and ABS the pieces were on the way out for repair. We want to also make a special Hats-Off salute to Lauderdale Propeller Service and High Seas Yacht Service for making the repairs so quickly. Both shops continued to work even as their holiday parties were going on. Thank you all for your dedication and craftsmanship. Each part of the puzzle fell into place and we salute your efforts.” Alan Palash, Captain |
